Neuropsychiatry
UMass offers a variety of training at the interface of psychiatry and neurology, including a six year combined neuropsychiatry residency program and a one year clinical fellowship in Neuropsychiatry. UMass Neuropsychiatry training resources include state-of-the-art EEG, MRI, PET, and brain SPECT imaging facilities; neuropsychological evaluation; active epilepsy surgery and deep brain stimulation programs; adult and child neurodevelopmental disabilities clinics; several outpatient neuropsychiatry clinics; and a large neuropsychiatric sciences research program (the Brudnick Neuropsychiatric Research Institute, the Center for Comparative Neuroimaging) with projects of interest to neuropsychiatry.
