Assistant Professor Position, Tenure-Track

Department of Neurobiology

University of Massachusetts Medical School

The Department of Neurobiology has an opening for a tenure-track assistant professor in molecular neuroethology. We are especially interested in candidates who can use genetic and molecular approaches to increase our understanding of the mechanisms underlying long-distance migration in the monarch butterfly. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a vigorous, externally funded research program and contribute to graduate training in neurobiology. More information about our department can be found at www.umassmed.edu/neurobiology/. Applications are being accepted online http://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/umassmed and must include a CV, statement of research interests, and names and addresses of three references. Review of applications will begin October 2, and will close January 2, 2013.
