A Note from the Chariman of the Board:

From the outset of planning for the creation of Meyers Primary Care Institute, it was clear that this collaboration between the Fallon Healthcare System and the University of Massachusetts Medical School would be unique - a meeting of minds to create a program that places our community of Central Massachusetts front and center in efforts to promote research and education in primary care medicine.

The Board of Directors of the Meyers Primary Care Institute has brought tremendous enthusiasm and a wealth of experience to the responsibility of overseeing this important endeavor. The composition of our Board reflects a full partnership between the sponsors of the Institute. Members of the Board represent all of the primary care disciplines and a variety of specialty areas.

For primary care medicine to continue to flourish, there must be a true collaboration between generalists and specialists to provide the highest quality health care to our patients.

In our respective roles as clinicians, educators, researchers, and healthcare leaders, we - the members of the Board of the Meyers Primary Care Institute - are committed to working to ensure its continued success.
