Mission of UMass Med/Peds Residency Program

To provide exceptional training in a supportive environment that is challenging yet enjoyable, and always humanistic so that, upon graduation, our residents are: 

         - Comfortable practicing primary care in any setting
         - Poised to pursue further training in any subspecialty of Pediatrics or Internal Medicine
         - Well prepared to pass both board examinations
