Infectious Diseases Lecture Series

(Wednesdays, 4:00PM)- monthly "state-of-the-art" lectures on clinically-related topics given by visiting scientists in the field of Infectious Diseases.

Interhospital Infectious Disease Rounds

(Wednesdays, 4:00PM)- weekly case conferences featuring "unknowns" presented in rotation at UMMHC- University campus, UMMHC- Memorial campus, and Saint Vincent at Worcester Medical Center.

Core Curriculum Didactic Lectures

(Wednesday, 8:00AM)- weekly didactic presentations by UMMHC faculty and fellows. Topics in general Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine are presented in rotation over a 2-year cycle. The lecture is followed by a "plate rounds" in the Clinical Microbiology Lab where the lecture topic is illustrated with clinical microbiology findings. 

I.D. Journal Club

(Fridays, 8:00 AM)- monthly in-depth discussions of papers selected from the current I.D. literature.

Chief Rounds

(Mondays, noon)- weekly presentations by I.D. fellows to Dr. Golenbock.

Program Director Meeting

(Monday, noon) - one week per month

I.D. Case Conference

(Fridays, 8:00AM)- weekly case management conferences presented by I.D. fellows to the full clinical faculty.

HIV Conference

(Fridays, 9:00AM)- weekly conferences addressing issues related to the broad field of HIV-related medical care. Presentations rotate among the following: HIV Journal Club, Didactic Lectures, Psychosocial Issues Conferences, and Research Conferences.
