Welcome to the instructor portal for the UMass AHA Training Center associated with the Office of Continuing Medical Education. This site is meant to be a resource for the AHA instructors associated with our Training Center.

Ordering Cards

To order cards for a course you have taught, click here.

After signing in, you will confirm your first and last name. On the next screen you will enter the course details such as course date, site, instructor etc. At the bottom of the page you will select the number of cards you are requesting. 

  • For card orders to be processed, payment and a copy of the roster must be received. Rosters should be scanned and submitted by email to icels@umassmed.edu
  • For speed of processing, we ask that you format the subject as follows: Course Type Roster- Instructor name - Date of course
  • For example: ACLS Roster - John Smith - 1/1/2015
  • We will not be able to release cards for which we do not have a roster on file. We can no longer accept rosters at the time of card pickup. They must be submitted beforehand.

  • To renew your instructor card you must be affiliated with our training center as an instructor for that particular course.
  • You must also have taught that course 4 times in the past two years.
  • Before your renewal can be processed, you will need to fill out the instructor renewal checklist (click here for form).  
  • In order to expedite the process, we ask that you email the checklist and scans of all four rosters to icels@umassmed.edu
  • We will provide one free renewal per course type per 2 years. 

Card Delivery Options & eCards

In order to provide quicker service for our instructors, the card ordering system now allows you to choose whether you would like to pick up your cards, have them mailed to you, or have eCards sent directly to your students via email. If you want to have your cards mailed, please enter the desired delivery address. 

Starting this year, our center offers two card options: traditional and eCards. In order to use eCards, you will need to collect the email address of each learner, and enter it into the system when you order their card.

Our courses, update seminars, and card distribution are handled through iCELS on the University of Massachusetts Medical School campus. The iCELS reception area is on the third floor of the Albert Sherman Center, 368 Plantation St., Worcester MA 01605.

Our financial offices are located at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Office of Continuing Medical Education. If you need to send a payment by check, it can be mailed to 55 Lake Ave. North, S4-124, Worcester MA 01655.
