These workshops are designed for GSBS Students on the F-1 visa. If you are within the final year of your GSBS program, and are considering working in the U.S. following graduation, this workshop is for you! We encourage participants to review the OPT Website prior to attending the workshop. Below is a list of the scheduled OPT workshops for the 2014-2015 Academic Year. All workshops are located in the Michelson Room of the Lazar Research Building (LRB)

The winter holiday season (Thanksgiving through New Years) is a popular time to travel home to visit with family and friends. This brown-bag travel seminar is recommended for foreign nationals who are planning international travel in the coming months. We will review travel recommendations, required documentation and visa renewal procedures including recent trends in administrative processing. There will be time for individual case-specific Q&A immediately following the presentation. You are welcome to bring your lunch and your questions!

We are very pleased to have Phil Curtis, Managing Partner of Chin & Curtis, present a workshop on permanent residence: process, pitfalls and opportunities. This will be a presentation focused on the needs and characteristics of the UMMS population. Chin & Curtis is a ten-lawyer Boston law firm specializing in employment-based immigration.
