Tuition benefits are available through tuition assistance, tuition remission and tuition waiver to eligible employees.
Tuition assistance is available for full-time, benefited employees who wish to take classes related to their present position and provides a reimbursement of a portion of the tuition cost.
Tuition remission and tuition waiver is available for employees, their spouse, domestic partner, and dependent children up to age 25. Tuition remission and tuition waiver can be used at MA state and community colleges, state universities and UMass campuses.
Graduate courses for spouse, domestic partner and/or dependent children are taxable to the employee.
