Announcement - 2013 Spring Benefits Open Enrollment
Open enrollment starts April 10 and continues through to May 8 for changes effective July 1.
2013 Spring Benefits Open Enrollment Includes:
- Health Insurance
- Health Insurance Buy-Out Option
- Dental Insurance
- Vision Insurance
- MetLaw Benefit
- UMASS Sick Leave Bank (for non-unit, SHARE and NAGE employees)
- Long-Term Disability (LTD) - Exception ends on June 14, 2013 for effective date October 1, 2013
No action required in plans listed above unless you are making changes.
Important Dates: Wednesday, April 10, 2013 - Open enrollment starts April 10. It’s the FIRST DAY you can sign up for the July 1, 2013 benefits that are listed. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 - Open enrollment ends May 8. It’s the LAST DAY you can sign up for the July 1, 2013 benefits that are listed. The exception is the LTD Open Enrollment, which will go until June 14 with an effective date of October 1, 2013.
