Graduate Entry Pathway into the
Master's of Science in Nursing Program
Nursing is a profession that emphasizes care for people and their health - from senior citizens to patients with chronic disease; in our own cities and communities in areas around the globe. As our society ages, medically uninsured populations increase, and health problems become more complex. The demand for high quality nursing care is at an all-time high, creating an exciting and challenging opportunity for qualified candidates entering the field today.
The University of Massachusetts Worcester Graduate School of Nursing (GSN) is striving to meet and exceed the challenges of the current and future nursing shortages by training and preparing individuals to enter this rewarding profession.
The GSN is seeking students who already possess a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing to apply to a new Graduate Entry Pathway (GEP) into our existing Master of Science Degree Program.
The University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Nursing is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, and has prerequisite approval from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing to begin accepting applications for the Graduate Entry Pathway.
