The Graduate School of Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Worcester accepts applications through NursingCAS, the online, centralized application service for nursing programs.
Within the GSN master’s program, several options lead to the preparation of advanced practice nurses and nurse educators:
- The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program prepares graduates for leadership roles in advanced nursing practice.
- The PhD in Nursing program promotes mentorship in research and scholarship among its faculty and students for the advancement of nursing science and practice.
- The BSN to PhD Pathway is open to registered nurses with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and to students who have completed Graduate Entry Pathway (GEP) first-year courses at UMW.
