Nurse Educator Specialty

This course of study prepares graduates to assume nurse educator and leadership roles that improve health care endeavors. In response to forces in nursing and health care, this specialty prepares a unique graduate who possesses a strong clinical foundation, leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of teaching and learning. Clinical and educational practicums required.

Students enrolled in the Nurse Educator Specialty have the option to enroll in one of the following subspecialties: Cancer Care; Cardiovascular Care; Correctional Health Care; Genetics Care, and Gerontological Care.
