Career Development

A key goal of the UMass Center is to enhance the career development of investigators interested in interdisciplinary geriatric healthcare research.  To accomplish that goal we are using several strategies:

  • Outstanding junior faculty are selected to attend the Career Development Institute with Rand/Hartford site investigators
  • UMASS mentoring program
  • NIH mock reviews
  • Opportunity to participate in Center interdisciplinary pilot studies
  • Professional development seminars and workshops (see below)

If you would like to participate in the career development program,

please call Jane Saczynski 508-856-6944.
