PINK, Lighting the Way to a Cure
October 2, 2008 Aaron Lazare Medical Research Building UMass Medical School, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. This event is held to honor and remember those who have lived with breast cancer and to raise funds to benefit breast cancer research and patient care at the UMass Memorial Cancer Center. Admission is free with a cocktail buffet, lighting of candles, update on the latest advances in treatment and research and a survivor’s story. The Clerkship Years and Beyond

UMass Medical School, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Part of the Mom and Pop Med School series, this program is designed for parents of 2nd and 3rd year students. The event offers an opportunity to better understand what students encounter the last two years of Medical School, their transition out of Medical School and how the School assists them through this stage of their education.
