The Greater Worcester Farmer’s Market is back on the University Campus on Tuesday afternoons starting July 7. Hosted by UMMS and UMass Memorial Health Care and located on the plaza in front of the Medical School Lobby, the market will be here weekly from 1 to 5 p.m. through October. Participating merchants will be selling fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, honey, baked goods and gift certificates. The South Street Campus is also hosting a farmer’s market for the first time this year. Located in front of the building on the walkway to the North Parking Lot, the market will be at South St. Wednesdays, from noon to 5 p.m. Local vendors will be selling produce, flowers, baked goods, jam and more. The Walk to Cure Cancer Kick-off Breakfast will be held Thursday, July 16, in the Hogan Center at the College of the Holy Cross. Registration is at 7:30 a.m.; continental breakfast and speaker’s program will follow from 8 to 9 a.m. Teams will receive all the materials they need for gathering pledges for the Sept. 13 event on the UMass Medical School campus.
