Bullet Green In recognition of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month, the GLBT Quality Improvement Committee of UMass Memorial Health Care is hosting "Love Makes A Family and Pioneering Voices," a museum-quality traveling exhibit of photographs and interviews with families that have GLBT members. The exhibit will be on display from Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, on the University Campus in the Lamar Soutter Library; on Tuesday, June 9, on the Hahneman Campus in the Ann Nemitz Conference Room; and Thursday, June 23, through Friday, June 24, on the Memorial Campus in the Nursing Conference Room, 11 a.m..1 p.m.

Bullet Green The UMMS Center for Mindfulness is offering all UMMS employees an opportunity to participate in the nationally acclaimed Stress Reduction Program for a discounted fee of $150. Participants will work on developing skills for increasing concentration and focus, learning to respond to stress more effectively, increasing resiliency and enhancing creativity. Bullet Green The Greater Worcester Farmer's Market will be back on the University Campus starting on Tuesday, July 7. Hosted by UMMS and UMass Memorial Health Care and located on the plaza in front the Medical School Lobby, the market will be here weekly from 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through October. Participating merchants will be selling fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, honey, baked goods and gift certificates. Bullet Green The Walk to Cure Cancer Kick-off Breakfast will be held Thursday, July 16, in the Hogan Center at the College of the Holy Cross. Registration is at 7:30 a.m.; continental breakfast and speakerfs program will follow from 8 to 9 a.m. Teams will receive all the materials they need for gathering pledges for the Sept. 13 event on the UMass Medical School campus. Bullet Green Registrations are now being accepted for the 17th Annual Tee Up for Tots Golf Tournament that will be held on Monday, Aug. 10, at the Sterling National Country Club in Sterling. The registration fee is $350 per player and includes greens fees, golf cart, box lunch and dinner. Registration begins at 10 a.m. This event benefits the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center.
