Aileen Chen, DO is a 2012 graduate from UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine. A New Jersey native, Aileen earned her BA in Music from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. As a medical student, Aileen served on the Honor Council and also spent a month on a visiting rotation at Family Health Center. Aileen’s interests include hiking, gardening and travel.


Paul Daniel, MD graduated in 2012 from UMass Medical School. He earned his BS in Sociology in 2000 from the College of the Holy Cross and spent a number of years working as a research assistant at both Brigham and Women’s Hospital and at Opthalmic Consultants of Boston. Paul's personal interests include  playing the drums and cooking.


Alexandra Sophocles, MD is a 2010 graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine who earned her BA in Classical Archaeology from Dartmouth College in 2001 and her MA in Medical Science from Boston University in 2004. Alex was most recently a Radiology resident at SUNY at Long Island College Hospital, having completed a prelim Medicine intern year at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence.


Sing Wong, MD, is a 2012 graduate of St. George's University who graduated from Stony Brook University in 2006 with a Biology degree. A native of Hong Kong, Sing worked as a research assistant and as a paramedic prior to medical school. His outside interests include traveling and playing baseball.


Joan Fleishman, PsyD

Joan grew up in Maine and received her BA in psychology and Spanish from Prescott College in Arizona in 2005. She recently earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacific University in Oregon with a focus in health psychology and culturally competent treatment. She completed her clinical internship at St. James Hospital in Chicago on the consultation/liaison service.

She has particular interest in health behavior change, diabetes management, weight loss, and culturally competent treatment. Joan has spent time studying and working in Mexico and Costa Rica. She conducts her clinical practice in both Spanish and English. During her free time you can find Joan exploring the outdoors, cooking, or spending time with her family. 






Jemini Abraham, MD is a 2011 graduate of Ross University who earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Rutgers University in 2006. Jemini has worked with at-risk youth and is a Massachusetts native. She enjoys cooking and long distance running as personal interests.




Monica Agarwal, MD is a 2011 graduate of Saint George's University. She graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2000 with her BS in Biology. A Canadian native, she also earned her MHS from Johns Hopkins University in 2002. Monica worked as a nutrition consultant and as a research associate prior to medical school. Her personal interests include running and Indian classical dance. Monica is also a member of our residency's Global Health Track .




Sara Rodenas-Martinez, DO graduated in 2011 from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her BS in Biology from Providence College in 2005 and is a native of Spain. Sara has a strong interest in women’s health and public health and enjoys cooking and scrap booking.




Navid Roder, MD earned his medical degree from Universitat Basel in Switzerland in 2009 and earned his BS in Biology in 2002 from the College of St. Michel, also in Switzerland. Navid spent extensive time on a medical mission in Haiti in 2010. He was born in the US and enjoys jazz piano and guitar.





Jennifer Bradford, MD is a 2010 graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine who earned her BA in Child Development from Tufts in 1998. In 2011 she completed her PGY-1 year at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida and is a Boston native. 




Shaun Farraher, MD, Chief Resident, is a 2010 graduate of American University of the Caribbean and graduated from Framingham State College with a BS degree in Biology. Shaun served as both a TA and tutor at AUC, among his other activities. A native of the North Shore of MA, his personal interests include outdoor sports and playing guitar.




Cristina Mota, MD graduated in 2010 from Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is a California native and graduated with her BA in Anthropology from Brown University in 2005. Fluent in Spanish, Cristina recently was involved with a diabetes pilot control project in Ecuador. She also enjoys hiking and cooking. Cristina is a member of our residency's Global Health Track.





Amber Wiekamp, MD is a 2010 graduate of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. She graduated from the University of Nebraska in 2006 with both a BS in Biological Sciences and a BA in International Studies. Amber is fluent in Spanish and her clinical interests include Women's Health while her personal interests include cooking (and eating!) and hiking. Amber is also a member of our residency's Global Health Track.
