Research

I was a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar during Spring 2004 at the Family Therapy Program, Hospital St Creu & St Pau, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona researching and supporting the work with immigrants in Catalunya. Recent publications and conferences address clinical work with bicultural couples and families, collaborative consultation and supervision, family health psychology, health access for immigrants and health access disparities (chronic pain treatment, medication strategies among elderly Latinos, health care satisfaction among Latino immigrants), and qualitative data analysis.

Mentoring

Presently, I support the research projects of family medicine doctors in the areas of health disparities, translation, ADD, and Latino families.
