Research interests

My research interests are in how viruses interact with Toll-like receptors (TLRs) to activate inflammatory cytokine responses and produce type I interferons. I am currently conducting studies with dengue virus, coxsackie B virus, herpesviruses, and influenza, characterizing their interactions with specific TLRs in different cell types including neutrophils, dendritic cells, and monocytes/macrophages.
