Time Frame: 3 years 4 months (09/01/2005 - 12/31/2008)
This study is developing, implementing, and testing a family care management (FCM) intervention for parents with mental illness and their children. The FCM intervention is based on exemplary models with additional adaptations as recommended by local community stakeholders. The FCM intervention will be evaluated with regard to its effects on its intended consumers: adults with mental illness and their families. Investigators will also examine the process of implementing the FCM in an adult mental health agency and in the community at large.
