Potential Rotation Projects Include

• Characterization of the mucosal (respiratory) antibody responses to PyV. Frequency and localization of antibody secreting cells.
• Characterization of the interaction of PyV with dendritic cells. Test the role of DC activation in the induction of TI antibody responses
• Characterization of long-term mucosal antibody responses to PyV in normal and in T cell-deficient mice. Test for the existence of B cell memory in these mice.
• Characterization of the role of complement receptor signaling in TI and T cell-dependent (TD) antibody responses to PyV.
