Clinical Care & Patient Information
Specialists in endocrinology and metabolism diagnose and treat adults with endocrinology and metabolic disorders. Our physicians offer the following areas of clinical expertise:
• Adrenal disorders
• Disorders of calcium metabolism
• Neuroendocrine disorders including pituitary tumors
• Reproductive endocrinology
• Thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer
• For diabetes, please see our Diabetes Division webpage
INPATIENT & OUTPATIENT TREATMENT
All outpatient visits are with the same primary endocrine physician. If hospitalization is necessary, the patient may not see his/her primary physician while hospitalized. That physician will be kept up to date on the patient's health status and provide follow-up treatment after discharge.
For additional information on our other clinical locations, please see the UMass Memorial Medical Center web site.
Appointments can be made with any of our physicians by calling the Division Endocrinology at (508)856-5881 or 856-3115 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. In an emergency, during non-office hours, call (508) 334-1000 and ask for the endocrinology physician on call. The operator will take your message and have the physician contact you. You also may go directly to the Medical Center's Emergency Department.
