Debra Heitmann, MD

Dr. Heitmann is an Attending Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine.  She is Co-Director of Undergraduate Education and is very active in the teaching of medical students. She coordinates the Physical Diagnosis in the Emergency Department Program for second year medical studentsand the Emergency Medicine Mini-Selective for fourth year students and nurse practitioner students.  She received a teaching award from the students in 2004.

Her interests include undergraduate education, medical simulation and international emergency medicine.
