Chad E. Darling, M.D.

Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine

Winner Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Research Training Grant 2007-2009

Dr. Darling is faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine.He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Dartmouth Medical School. He completed his Fellowship in Research at the UMass Medical School in 2004 and his residency in Emergency Medicine at the UMass Medical School Emergency Medicine Residency in 2003.  Dr. Darling won the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) 2005 Young Investigator-Basic Science award. He is currently the holder of the SAEM Emergency Medicine Research Training Grant.

His research interests include risk stratification of cardiovascular disesase in the Emergency Department.
