Chad E. Darling, M.D.

Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine

Dr. Darling is faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine.He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Dartmouth Medical School. He completed his Fellowship in Research at the UMass Medical School in 2004 and his residency in Emergency Medicine at the UMass Medical School Emergency Medicine Residency in 2003.  Dr. Darling won the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) 2005 Young Investigator-Basic Science award. He also was awarded the SAEM Emergency Medicine Research Training Grant for 2007-2009.

His research interests include acute heart failure and risk stratification of cardiovascular disease.
