Robert F. McCarron, MD

Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine

Dr.McCarron is an experienced member of the Department of Emergency Medicine. He was an integral part of the residency program from its inception serving as a faculty member at the St. Vincent's Hospital. He has been an active faculty member since 1987.  Dr. McCarron joined the UMassMemorial staff in January 2006. He is the director of our Clinical Decision Unit. Dr. McCarron is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
