UMass Medical School and UMass Memorial benefit from the funds raised at a number of the signature events hosted each year by the Development Office. These events provide individuals, businesses, corporations, community service groups and foundations the opportunity to support UMass Medical School and UMass Memorial, celebrate its successes and learn about its programs and services.

In addition, we benefit from many community fundraising events held by volunteers, grateful patients, local businesses and organizations who want to raise money to support our academic health sciences center. The efforts of philanthropically-minded people who host independent fundraising events in support of our mission directly affect what we are able to do for the people we serve.
