Fellowships
Our fellowships offer opportunities for applicants to explore specific areas of interest beyond their residency. Sports Medicine is a one-year fellowship leading to CAQ eligibility. Joint training is possible in family medicine and Preventive Medicine leading to a Masters degree in Public Health and family medicine board eligibility.
We are pleased to offer two new fellowships: Geriatrics, a collaboration between Family Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine Division of Geriatrics, and an exciting fellowship in Hospital Medicine. Hospital Medicine is currently recruiting fellowship candidates; we anticipate that the Geriatrics program will begin accepting fellows in 2009.
Our Clinical Faculty Development Center sponsors a part-time Faculty Development Fellowship for academic physicians planning careers as family medicine educators.
The two-year full-time Post Doctoral Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology prepares clinical and counseling psychologists to work in clinical, research, and training settings associated with primary medical care. Also offered is a BehavioralHealth Certificate Program.
