  Mission
The UMass CFAR Clinical Investigation Core was organized in 1998 and has the following goals:

red aids ribbon To enhance and facilitate interactions between basic scientists and clinical investigators that lead to patient-oriented studies that improve our understanding of HIV pathogenesis.

red aids ribbon  To provide the necessary expertise and services to facilitate patient-oriented and translational research.

red aids ribbon  To coordinate services with other CFAR Core Laboratories in order to facilitate and expedite HIV-related research.

 

red aids ribbon To support the training and advancement of new investigators in HIV-related research.

red aids ribbon To provide community education regarding UMass CFAR HIV research.
