Student Participation in Commencement
Commencement 2009 will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009. This is a very special occasion for both students and faculty – extra special this year because the event will be held right here on our campus.
Faculty, graduates and their guests are also invited to two other special on-campus events: a “Commencement Celebration” on Saturday evening, June 6, from 8 p.m. to midnight: drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a dessert buffet and dancing ― check out our entertainment, The Marsels, at http://www.marsels.com and UMass Worcester’s own band “Vertical Transmission,” starring graduates from the School of Medicine ― and a Sunday morning brunch, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
