BLS: Basic Life Support

Registration should not be mailed unless receipt can be guaranteed two weeks in advanced. The $75 tax-deductible fee includes textbook, barrier device, continuing education credit, and successful completion card. Note: This fee is non-refundable.

In order to receive the CME certificate, attendees must sign in on the day of the program.

Confirmation 

Registrants will receive confirmation, a BLS Textbook and directions via US mail. Registrants are welcome to gain further information by calling (508)-856-3041. Please note: If you would like to purchase a pocket mask for future use, please indicate this on the registration form and include an additional $15.00.

In accordance with the Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the guidelines of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), it is the policy of the University of Massachusetts Medical School to disc lose whatever interest or affiliation a speaker might have with any commercial organization whose products or services are related to the subject matter being presented. Such disclosure will be made available on the day of the program.

Accreditation 

The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

UMMS designates BLS certification for 4 hours in Category 1 of the Physicians Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.

All other participants will receive 4 CEU's.

UMMS designates BLS recertification for 2.5 hours in Category 1 of the Physicians Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.

All other participants will receive 2.5 CEU's.
