Medicaid Infrastructure and Comprehensive Employment Opportunities (MI-CEO) Grant
Work Without Limits maximizes work opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities. Addressing the needs of employers and strengthening the Massachusetts workforce, this public/private partnership brings together a broad range of stakeholders:
- People with disabilities
- State policy makers
- Service planners
- Employment service providers
- Businesses and employers
The project is funded through a federal Medicaid Infrastructure and Comprehensive Employment Opportunities (MI-CEO) grant that was awarded to UMass Medical School’s Center for Health Policy and Research in collaboration with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
With anticipated funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services through the end of 2011, the MI-CEO grant is intended to maximize employment opportunities and outcomes for people with disabilities in Massachusetts by enhancing the state infrastructure and creating systemic changes.
