Courage: A Half-Day Retreat for Mindfulness Practitioners
We all face difficulties and challenges in our lives, on a daily basis. These can be small or large, yet all require courage to face. But what is courage and why is it needed? Is it a trait we are born with, a skill we can learn, a mixture of these, or something else entirely?
In this half-day retreat led by Judson Brewer, MD, PhD, we will explore the roots of our daily experiences that call for courage (e.g. fear), and how mindfulness practice can help provide fertile soil for the seeds of courage to grow, and help transform our lives such that we can live more authentically and fully.
The retreat format will be a mixture of silent practice, contemplative self-inquiry, and discussion.
This retreat is open to anyone who has a mindfulness practice
