    • Genes with Modulating Patterns but expressed in both Tumor-derived and Fibroblast Cells
    • Table 5: Comparison of cell cycle related gene expression in normal fibroblasts and tumor related HeLa cells.
Analyses of the genes expressed in both cell types (1837) reveals that 1057 genes exhibit cell cycle dependent modulations in expression of two fold or more. This modulation in cell cycle controlled gene expression is only conserved for 333 genes in both cell types. We found 407 genes, which are only modulated during the cell cycle in normal fibroblasts, and 317 genes in HeLa cells only.

  • Supplemental Data
    • Figure 2B: Temporal pattern of expression reveals differences in timing of peak expression for particular groups of genes during S phase.
A/ Shown are clusters that were generated by k-means algorithms. Each horizontal line represents the gene specified to its right. Dendrograms (Tree, T) indicate the relatedness of expression patterns. Yellow represents high and blue low levels of expression.
B/ Overview of log values found for the timepoints (Genes, G). The genbank accession numbers are provided on the left with a link to the NBCI related information.
