Fellow Evaluation
The evaluation process is core competency-based. A variety of assessment tools, both formal and informal, are utilized to provide fellows with information on their progress in professional development.
- Faculty review goals and objectives with the fellows at the start of each rotation.
- At the end of each rotation, verbal and written feedback is provided by supervising attendings.
- Low score notices and confidential comments are screened by the Program Director as they are submitted.
- Cardiology fellows anonymously evaluate attendings on a regular basis.
- There are biannual, individual meetings between fellows and the program director.
Program Evaluation
Fellows anonymously evaluate the program annually. Evaluations are reviewed by the program director and the Fellowship Advisory Board.
