Research in this lab is concerned with the
development of the Digital
Imaging Microscope for three-dimensional imaging of molecular distribution
in cells. Areas of on-going research include image acquisition and
processing, and computer graphics with a particular emphasis on
visualization techniques. Some driving problems include the imaging of
dynamic events in living cells and the analysis of the spatial
relationships of molecular species in cells.
