Glenn Gaudette, Ph.D.

Dr. Gaudette's primary research focus is on myocardial regeneration.  He is able to recruit the body's own stem cells to the heart that may induce native heart cells to proliferate (endogenous myocardial regeneration).  In addition, he is delivering human adult stem cells via a scaffold to regenerate lost myocardium.

He is also studying treatment for post operative atrial fibrillation, a condition that occurs in approximately 30-40% of all cardiac surgical patients.
