Manuel Garber

Manuel Garber, Bioinformatics Core Director, joined UMass Chan on September 1, 2012. He has come with fresh ideas and changes he wants to make happen for 2013 and beyond. Dr. Garber has started with improving the Bioinformatics Core Website, updating and creating a “helpdesk” where individuals can log issues/concerns and get answers back in a timely manner. Dr. Garber has also spearheaded a monthly Bioinformatics Core Seminar, which has been growing with more and more individuals attending the seminar series every month. Dr. Garber is a real go-getter who will make big things happen for the Core Facility in the years to come.
