Technical Assistance

In-state assistance:

Division faculty and staff are available to speak to Massachusetts hospitals and health care agencies about nicotine dependence and treatment. We can provide tailored presentations to physicians, nurses, and allied health personnel on a variety of tobacco-related topics. Because this work is supported by the MA Department of Public Health, there is no charge for this assistance. Call 508-856-2935 for more information.

Out-of-state assistance:

Division faculty and staff are available to provide consultation services to non-Massachusetts programs and agencies. These services include technical assistance in developing, implementing and evaluating tobacco treatment specialist training and certification programs adapted to the unique needs of the target audience.
