Worcester County Prevention Research Center (WC-PRC)

The Worcester County Prevention Research Center (WC-PRC) is one of 37 Prevention Research Centers across the country.  Through sustained partnerships and collaborations with community organizations, the WC-PRC is building knowledge to inform effective public health programs and policies that promote healthy weight, healthy behaviors and optimal management of chronic health conditions with the goal of improving the lives of individuals, families and communities in Worcester County.

The UMMS Center for Applied Nutrition (UCAN)

The Center for Integrative Nutrition promotes nutritional change by teaching patients to consume healthy and delicious food. The senses of taste, smell, and texture are methods utilized in facilitating dietary change within the counseling, cooking and nutrition programs for the public, and through our various research programs.

The Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society

The Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society administers and promotes the clinical, educational, research, and outreach/networking work of the Stress Reduction Clinic and its staff.

The Center for Tobacco Treatment Research and Training

The Center for Tobacco Treatment Research and Training is committed to providing the most up-to-date, evidence-based information on the prevention and treatment of nicotine dependence. The Center is actively engaged in a wide range of tobacco-related research, clinical treatment services, technical assistance, and professional education programs.

The Biostatistical Research Groups (BRG)

The Biostatistical Research Groups (BRG) is a centralized facility for epidemiological, biostatistical and biomathematical expertise to enhance biomedical and health research.
