Animal Embryonic Stem Cell Core Facility at UMass Amherst

The Animal Embryonic Stem Cell Core at UMass Amherst has been recently funded. We anticipate that mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells from strain 129 will be available in December of 2007. Future plans include making available parthenogenetic mouse ES cells and ES cells from other non-primate mammalian species.
