45-Hour CHW Certificate Course

Designed for Community Health Workers, the 45-Hour CHW Certificate Course is comprised of fifteen 3-hour  weekly sessions. The course curriculum is comprised of 8 Outreach Core Competency sessions and 7 Community and Health Specific Competency sessions.

The curriculum focuses on a range of competencies, including:

• communication
• community assessment
• advocacy skills
• environment health
• substance abuse
• mental health

18-Hour Supervisor Certificate Course

Specifically designed for individuals tasked with overseeing Community Health Workers in the field, this course is comprised of six 3-hour weekly sessions. The curriculum focuses on the roles and needs of CHWs and their supervisors, supervision strategies, conflict resolution, and professional boundaries.
