Based in a public medical school, the Office of Foster Care and Adoption is dedicated to developing practical responses to improve foster care and adoption policy and practice by conducting research, policy analysis, and education and training programs.

Our Vision

In five years, the Office of Foster Care and Adoption will be recognized as a leading research and education resource in the commonwealth, and as a national model for effective university and state agency collaboration, to improve policy and practice for children, birth, foster, and adoptive families; and professionals involved in foster care and adoption.
