An Overview of Our Programs

Health and Criminal Justice Programs are made up of an array of programs that collaborate with various state and local agencies on healthcare initiatives:

UMass Correctional Health

The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) has been selected by the Massachusetts Department of Correction to provide comprehensive medical, mental health and dental services to approximately 10,000 men and women in DOC custody at 20 facilities across the Commonwealth. The new contract is effective on January 1, 2003.

The Devens Program

A provision of specialty medical and clinical support services at the Federal Medical Center in Massachusetts, under contract with the U.S. Department of Justice.
