Certificate Program
Continuing Education Credits: CEUs
Continuing Education credits provided through Berkshire AHEC. To receive verification of successful completion of the following credit hours, participants are expected to sign-in and out, attend the entire program and complete all program evaluations. A maximum of two workshops may be missed (Social Workers, see below) and made up (by viewing the recorded webcast on the PCBH web portal) to still obtain the Certificate of Completion, though CEUs are granted for all workshops completed. Please note: 36 credits will be awarded at the end of the program. We are unable to award credits after each individual workshop.

ServiceNet maintains responsibility for this program and its content. |
| Social Workers | 36 | This program has been approved for 36 Approved Entity Continuing Education hours for re-licensure, in accordance with 258 CMR. Collaborative of NASW and the Boston College and Simmons Schools of Social Work Authorization Number D50130-3. * Requirement per NASW: 100% attendance is mandatory except for extenuating circumstances in which they could leave at 80% complete and still get their CEUs for what is completed. Attending less than 80% will result in no CEUs. * |
| Licensed Mental Health Counselors | 36 | Berkshire AHEC is approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) to provide continuing education credits for licensed mental health counselors. |
| Substance Abuse Counselors | 36 | Berkshire AHEC, provider #762, is an approved provider of the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADC). Attendees earn 36 continuing education credits for this course. |
| Marriage and Family Therapists (MA and RI) | 36 | Application has been made to Family Development Associates for certification of contact hours for licensed marriage and family therapists. |
| Nursing | 36 | These courses are designed for Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses and other health care and human service professionals and meet the requirements for nursing contact hours as specified by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing Section 244CMR 5.04. |
