Mission

Teach students, nurses, and other physicians how to provide the best possible care to persons with diabetes, provide the best possible care to persons with diabetes and conduct research that will contribute to the prevention and cure of diabetes.

Education & Research

Endocrinologists specialize in diabetes and provide a full range of diagnostic and evaluation services, including the most advanced treatment for adults with diabetes mellitus. Medical education and research includes investigation of causes and treatment of diabetes as well as treatment of diabetic complications, including: Cardiovascular diseases, Dermatological problems, Impotence, Nephropathy, Peripheral vascular disease, Retinopathy.

Clinical Services

A team of clinical experts includes certified diabetes educators, a nutritionist and nurse practitioner. This American Diabetes Association recognized program provides integrated care, including all aspects of diabetes education for self-care, nutrition consultation, and when appropriate, counseling and behavior modification.
