Meghan Heffernan, BA

Meghan joined the CCNI in 2009 as a Research Assistant after earning her BA in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross. Her research interests are in cognitive neuroscience, and functional magnetic resonance imaging. 

Currently, Meghan is responsible for conducting behavior studies in an animal model of traumatic brain injury, testing various deficits associated with this neurodegenerative injury. Additional research includes investigating various aspects of nicotine addiction through both behavioral evaluation, as well, as an fMRI paradigm.
