The Emergency Care Campaign, with a goal of $40 million, was our largest-ever capital fundraising campaign. Through generous community support we opened the state-of-the-art Duddie Massad Emergency & Trauma Center in February 2006.

Today, health care has evolved into a community responsibility and our community should be proud to have been instrumental in ensuring that families in Central New England have access to the most advanced lifesaving emergency and trauma care for adults and children. As the only Level 1 trauma center in Central Massachusetts, it touches the lives of tens of thousands of patients each year who find themselves unexpectedly in need of emergency and trauma care.
