Mood, Menstrual Periods & Menopause Study: The Impact of Perimenopause on the Clinical Course of Bipolar Disorder

Recruitment for this study is now closed.

Patients must be:

• 40-60 years old and female
• diagnosed with Bipolar disorder
• going through or have recently completed menopause

Patients will answer questions about their mood and experience with menopause, and have a small amount of blood drawn to test for hormone levels.

Patient’s participation will include 5 (or less) study visits in approximately a 4-5 month period.

Qualifying patients will receive financial compensation as well study-related evaluations at no cost.
