Cancer Care Subtrack

Enrollment in subtracks is available to students and graduates of the Adult-Gerontology Acute/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, or Nurse Educator specialties.

The Cancer Care subtrack prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in cancer care and education within the adult-older adult patient population. The direct role components emphasize an integration of theory, research and practice essential for the advanced practice oncology nurse. The program includes physiological and psychosocial components regarding cancer care.
