Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Post-Master’s Certificate
This Post-master’s Certificate option is an 19- to 29-credit program designed to meet the needs of the master’s-prepared nurse who desires formal education and clinical training in adult primary care in order to become eligible to sit for certification and advanced practice licensure as an adult nurse practitioner. The plan of study includes all clinically related courses in the existing AGPCNP curriculum (e.g., N/NG630A and B, N/NG631A and B) along with required advanced practice core courses (e.g., N/NG613, N/NG614 and N/NG615A and B). Similar advanced practice core course content may be demonstrated in the student’s previous master’s program.
